Description
Jackson County, Mississippi, is soliciting bids for dredging three areas near Halstead Road and Eagles Nest in Ocean Springs. The project includes removing and disposing of approximately 12,500 cubic yards of dredged material. The engineer’s estimate is $900,000 to $1 million. Bids may be submitted electronically in PDF format or by sealed envelope. Electronic bids must contain the same information and forms required for paper bids and must be secured with a bid bond. The bidder’s certificate of responsibility number, or a statement that the bid does not exceed $50,000, must be included on the exterior of a paper bid package or as an attachment to an electronic bid. Bidding documents must be obtained through the designated website, and plan holders must register to receive official notifications and addenda.
