Description
The Indian Health Service requires biweekly cleaning, replacement, and maintenance of dust mop heads, floor rugs, and air fresheners for the Fort Thompson Health Care Center, Annex, and Wellness Center. The contractor will collect soiled dust mop heads and rugs, replace them with clean items, maintain all items in suitable condition for a healthcare environment, and check and replace air fresheners at the Wellness Center as needed. Services must comply with applicable safety, environmental, and infection-control standards, with quality verified through visual inspections and customer-satisfaction monitoring. The notice requests capability statements for market research and is not currently an awardable solicitation. Responses must describe the company’s qualifications, recent organizational and staff capability, geographic coverage, business size and socioeconomic status, SAM registration, available procurement vehicles, and any anticipated subcontracting or teaming arrangements. The attached performance work statement describes a firm-fixed-price potential award with a one-year base period and four option years; personnel performing the work will check in at patient registration, wear identification, and be escorted because they have no background investigation.
