Description
The South Dakota Association of Conservation District Employees is offering three $500 memorial scholarships for current-year graduates of South Dakota high schools. Applicants must graduate in the upper 50% of their class, pursue an agriculture- or conservation-related field, and attend a South Dakota college or vocational school. Each scholarship is paid to the recipient after completion of two semesters of registration and may be used for books or other college expenses. Applicants must submit the scholarship application, personal and academic information, education and career goals, financial-need information, a high school transcript, and two letters of recommendation, preferably one from a teacher and one from an employer or community leader. Applications must be postmarked by March 31 and mailed to the designated contact.
