Description
The Bureau of Indian Education requires multiple substitute teachers to provide intermittent, non-permanent classroom coverage for absent teachers at Cheyenne-Eagle Butte School. Services will support elementary, junior high, E.A.G.L.E. Center, and high school classrooms, including direct and indirect instruction across varying grade levels and subjects. The projected requirement is approximately 9,900 hours annually, generally during the school day from 7:30 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. Substitute teachers must have appropriate qualifications and at least one year of K-12 substitute-teaching experience. Acceptable education qualifications include a valid teaching certificate, a bachelor's degree or higher, or an associate degree or at least 60 semester hours. Personnel must be U.S. citizens, provide onsite services, pass required federal background investigations, satisfy applicable security, immunization, and training requirements, and protect student personally identifiable and health information. The solicitation includes a base year and four option years, with options subject to government need, satisfactory performance, and funding availability. Quotes must include pricing, capability and staffing information, experience, key-personnel resumes, subcontracting information, required representations, and other specified business information. Amendment 0001 changes the set-aside to Total Small Business, removes the Indian Economic Enterprise representation requirement, extends the response deadline, and updates the anticipated base performance period to September 14, 2026, through September 13, 2027.
