The METHUEN HOUSING AU- THORITY, the awarding authority, invites electronic bid for Contrac- tors for the EOHLC Project #181186 Methuen Housing Authority Asphalt Roof Replacement 705-01 601 Bou- levard and 705-02 19A/19B Mystic, in accordance with the drawings and specifications prepared by Me- ander Studio Architects. The project consists of but not lim- ited to: Asphalt Shingle Roof Replacement, gutters, downspouts and associated vents/flashings. The work is estimated to cost $480,489 Bids are subject to M.G.L c 149 44A-J & minimum wage rates as re- quired by M.G.L. c. 149 26 to 27H inclusively. THIS PROJECT IS BEING ELEC- TRONICALLY BID AND HARD COPY BIDS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Please review the instructions in the bid documents on how to register as an electronic bidder. All Bids shall be submitted online at biddocs.com and received no later than the date and time specified. General Bids will be received un- til 10 September 2026 at 11:00AM EDT and publicly opened online, forthwith. General bids and sub-bids shall be accompanied by a bid depos- it that is not less than five (5%) of the greatest possible bid amount (including all alternates) and made payable to the METHUEN HOUS- ING AUTHORITY. Note: A bid de- posit is not required for Projects ad- vertised under $50,000. Bid Forms and Contract Docu- ments will be available for review at biddocs.com (may be viewed and downloaded electronically at no cost). The Contractor and all subcon- tractors (collectively referred to as "the Contractor") agree to strive to achieve minority and women work- force participation. The Workforce Participation benchmark is set at 4.9% for women and 8.5% for mi- norities. The Workforce benchmark percentages are a statutory require- ment under MGL c. 149 44A(2)(G).
