Description
Sarasota County is soliciting a contractor to provide comprehensive custodial and maintenance services within the Siesta Key Village Public Improvement District. The scope includes servicing and sanitizing trash, recycling, and ashtray containers; cleaning benches, bike racks, map kiosks, drinking fountains, walkways, sidewalks, parking areas, gutters, and the gazebo; litter, debris, gum, stickers, graffiti, and biohazard removal; waste separation and recycling management; pressure washing; light-bulb replacement; and touch-up painting of hardscape elements. The contractor must provide all labor, supervision, vehicles, equipment, tools, cleaning products, supplies, and at least two employees per shift. Services are required seven days per week, including holidays, across two shifts from 6:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., with two complete service cycles per shift. The initial contract term is one year. Bidders must complete the required Vendor Information Form, Reference Form, Public Entity Crime Statement, and other applicable questionnaire items, and must provide at least two qualifying custodial-services references from the past seven years, with each reference involving a minimum annual contract value of $100,000 and experience in cleaning and maintenance, waste and recycling management, and pressure washing or sanitization. Pricing is required for both regular shifts and additional custodial services for special events and peak-demand hours.
