Description
UConn Health is soliciting proposals from qualified healthcare information technology consulting firms to establish a long-term strategic partnership supporting its Epic Expansion Program for affiliated healthcare entities and Community Connect partners. The selected supplier will provide Epic build and configuration, onboarding and conversion from legacy electronic medical record systems or paper records, enterprise project management, staffing augmentation, strategic technology advisory services, operational continuity support, and scalable resources on an as-needed basis. The scope requires experienced remote and onsite consultants, project managers, Epic-certified resources, technical specialists, cybersecurity and infrastructure personnel, operational support staff, training and testing resources, and managed-services support through planning, design and build, testing, training, go-live, hypercare, stabilization, and steady-state operations. Required capabilities include multi-hospital Epic implementations, clinical data conversion and archival, interoperability and integration, multi-entity governance, organizational change management, cybersecurity risk management, chargeback and financial models, and transition to operational support. Subcontracting and offshoring are not allowed. The award is expected to be made to one supplier for an initial three-year term with three additional two-year renewal options.
