Description
The New Bedford Housing Authority is soliciting general bids for Phase 1 dusk-to-dawn lighting upgrades at Dottin Place I. The work includes providing one new photocell control for each residential building, replacing front and rear porch sconces at each unit with wet-location-rated LED fixtures, and covering interior porch-light switches so the lighting is controlled solely by the building photocells. The estimated project cost is $153,000. General bidders must hold current Massachusetts Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance (DCAMM) certification in the Electrical category and submit a current DCAMM Certificate of Eligibility and signed DCAMM Prime/General Contractor Update Statement. Bids must include a deposit of at least 5% of the greatest possible bid amount, including alternates. The project is electronically bid only; hard-copy bids will not be accepted.
