The Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation, through its Division of Water Supply Protection, is offering FY2027 grant funds to municipalities within the Wachusett Reservoir, Quabbin Reservoir, and Ware River watersheds that contain more than ten miles of town roads within the watershed boundaries. The grants support efforts to use the latest and most efficient strategies for reducing road salt consumption.
