Description
The Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority is seeking Statements of Qualifications from trade contractors for Riverside Trade Package 2B of the Green Line CMAR Riverside and Innerbelt Vehicle Maintenance Facility Upgrades in the trades of miscellaneous and ornamental iron, resilient flooring, and heating, ventilating, and air-conditioning. The project will modify the Riverside and Innerbelt vehicle maintenance facilities to accommodate the longer, heavier Type 10 light rail vehicles and support their assembly, testing, commissioning, inspection, maintenance, and repair. Trade scopes include metal stairs, railings, platforms, guardrails, gates, rail-support steel, decking, framing, and related miscellaneous metals; resilient wall and floor surfaces, moisture mitigation, epoxy, LVT, VCT, and adhesives; and HVAC coordination, permits, ductwork, equipment, insulation, fans, controls, piping, testing, and commissioning. This is a two-phase procurement: firms that are prequalified through this RFQ may later be invited to bid. The RFQ is a re-invite, and firms that submitted an SOQ in response to the August 5, 2026 RFQ do not need to resubmit.
