Description
The County of San Diego, Department of Environmental Health and Quality, seeks a vendor to purchase or lease one large-format multifunction plotter printer capable of printing, copying, and color scanning oversized technical drawings, maps, plans, and blueprints. The equipment must support at least 36-inch media, roll and sheet-fed media, two OEM-installed roll positions, a minimum 2400 x 1200 dpi resolution, laser print technology, black and multicolor toner, network output, specified file formats, Windows 11, and extensive cybersecurity controls. Equivalent electrophotographic fusing, color-scanner functionality, and security functionality are permitted where expressly accepted by the County; inkjet technology and 600 x 2400 dpi resolution are not acceptable. Estimated usage is 1,800–3,600 square feet, or 300–600 standard D-size prints, per term at 5%–10% page coverage. The requirement includes delivery, installation, configuration, network integration, staff training, ongoing maintenance, repairs, replacement parts, consumables other than paper, warranty coverage, technical support, and end-of-lease equipment return if applicable. Offerors may submit purchase-plan or lease-plan pricing for an initial one-year term and four one-year option periods. Quotes must address technical specifications, experience, two similar-scope business references, pricing, acceptance of the draft agreement, and any confidential or proprietary information.
