Description
The City of Fountain Valley is soliciting proposals for comprehensive production and logistical support for its annual four-day Summerfest community event, which attracts more than 12,000 attendees. The event is generally held over the third full weekend in June and includes carnival rides and up to 15 game booths. The contractor will provide or coordinate generators, vendor and seating tents, tables and chairs, dishwashing sinks, fencing, bicycle racks, parking staff, security staff, trash staff, beer and wine garden serving staff, wire guards, two stages with shade covers, trash cans, cooperative advertising, and at least $4,000 in annual sponsorships. The contractor must attend monthly planning meetings from November through May, coordinate vendors and subcontractors, obtain required vendor insurance, and provide a proposal addressing company experience, key personnel, past performance, approach, schedule, quality control, references, and a separately submitted cost proposal. The agreement is for three years with three additional one-year extension options.
