Description
Lower Alsace Township is soliciting bids for public-works storm sewer improvements. The work includes furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, and appurtenances; removing existing concrete gutter; rubblizing the existing concrete channel; installing 12-inch-diameter storm pipe; making watertight connections to an existing inlet; and restoring the trench. The project must be completed within 60 calendar days after the Notice to Proceed. A bid security of at least 10% of the total proposal is required. The successful bidder must provide performance, payment, and maintenance bonds, each in the amount of 100% of the total contract amount, along with proof of liability and workers' compensation insurance. Pennsylvania prevailing-wage requirements apply.
