Description
Highlands Ranch Water and Sanitation District is soliciting proposals for bulk liquid ferric sulfate, 60% strength, and liquid sodium hydroxide, 25% strength, for its surface-water, groundwater, and wastewater treatment plants. Estimated annual quantities total approximately 3,675,000 pounds of ferric sulfate and 2,416,000 pounds of sodium hydroxide. Suppliers must provide fixed pricing by pound of total chemical, including fees and freight, with a three-year average freight-cost calculation and an explanation of the freight structure. Products must meet the stated potable-water-treatment, NSF Standard 60, and applicable ANSI/AWWA requirements. Proposals must include the fixed-price bid, Supplier Questionnaire, affidavit of understanding, manufacturer information, and required laboratory and compliance documentation. The contract is expected to run for three years with one optional one-year extension, and deliveries will vary seasonally and by year.
