Description
The Colorado Department of Corrections is soliciting quotes for monthly on-site boiler water chemical treatment, laboratory testing, and technical support at Trinidad Correctional Facility. The contractor must maintain chemical levels for steam boilers, condensers, condensate, chillers, and hydronic closed-loop systems; test water chemistry monthly; adjust treatment concentrations; inspect boiler functions and controls; provide laboratory reports; and advise facility staff on system care and chemical handling. The contractor must furnish the required treatment chemicals, testing reagents, kits, equipment, tools, and materials; provide formal training and recurring consultation; and respond to urgent or emergency service calls within 24 hours. The initial purchase-order term is one year, with up to four additional one-year renewal periods. Site access requires attendance at the mandatory site visit, background checks, and correctional-facility security procedures.
