Description
The City of Pueblo is soliciting bids for a public improvement project involving the removal and replacement of approximately 6,295 linear feet of sanitary sewer main, installation of approximately 310 linear feet of new sanitary sewer main, replacement and installation of manholes, removal or abandonment of existing manholes, and reinstatement or extension of sanitary sewer services. The work also includes tracer wire, bypass pumping, traffic control, mobilization, flow fill, base course, asphalt and concrete restoration, curb and gutter replacement, double-gutter work, and related surface improvements across 13 Pueblo sites. The project includes work at sanitary sewer and water-main crossings, including asbestos-cement water-main crossing replacements and coordination with the Pueblo Board of Water Works. Bidders must submit electronically through the designated procurement portal, provide bid security equal to 5% of the total base bid plus alternates, self-perform at least 30% of actual labor or trade work, and complete the work within 330 calendar days after the Notice to Proceed. Payment and performance bonds are required before issuance of the Notice to Proceed, and specified commercial general liability, automobile liability, and workers’ compensation insurance are required.
