Description
The City of Pueblo is soliciting bids for construction of a new 0.75-mile, two-lane roadway connecting 31st Street and 24th Street. The work includes stop-controlled intersections, ADA-compliant curb ramps, concrete curb and gutter, sidewalks, storm sewer, bioswale and other stormwater controls, water and sanitary sewer lines, pavement, signing, striping, traffic control, fencing, landscaping, and construction surveying. The project also includes crossing Wildhorse Creek Drainageway with a double box culvert, headwalls, wingwalls, channel grading, temporary diversion, and dewatering. The contractor must comply with federal-aid requirements, including Davis-Bacon prevailing wages, Buy America requirements, environmental and stormwater permits, a minimum 30% prime-contractor self-performance requirement, a 1,000-hour on-the-job training goal, and payment and performance bonds. The contract requires completion within 365 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed.
