Description
Volusia County is soliciting bids for a complete modernization of five passenger elevators at the Ocean Center parking garage and pedestrian bridge. The work includes furnishing labor, engineering, equipment, materials, permits, testing, installation, coordination, and related building work to bring the elevators into compliance with current codes. Elevators 1 through 4 are hydraulic modernization projects, while Elevator 5 includes removal of the existing installation and installation of a new holeless hydraulic passenger elevator system. The scope includes new or modified controllers, hydraulic power units, piping, doors, car equipment, controls, communications, fire-service and flood-operation features, security and video interfaces, electrical and HVAC work, finishes, testing, permits, and acceptance inspections. Pricing must include preventive maintenance, service calls, testing, and parts replacement during the 12-month warranty period after final acceptance. Work must be coordinated with the Ocean Center's 2026–2027 event calendar and performed under a 330-day substantial-completion and 365-day final-completion schedule.
