The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, through the Department of General Services, is issuing an Invitation to Qualify (ITQ) for Elevator, Escalator, and Mechanical Movers Maintenance and Repair Services. The contract covers maintenance, repair, and limited component-level modernization of existing equipment including elevators, escalators, dumbwaiters, handicap lifts, tramways, travelators, and other lifting devices governed by ASME standards. Services are intended to support continued safe, reliable, and code-compliant operation. The contract is not for full system replacement or construction. Contractors must have a minimum of five years of experience and provide three comparable contracts. The ITQ has an initial term of five years with a possible five-year renewal. Awards are made to all responsive and responsible bidders.
