Description
The project involves renovating and modernizing two existing elevators in the Cecil County Courthouse's East and West Towers, located in the 1938 and 1965 wings. The elevator added in 2014 is expressly excluded from the scope. Work includes hoistway equipment, elevator cars, entrances, controls, wiring, and machine-room equipment. The contractor must also create two new elevator machine rooms in the penthouses above the elevator hoistways and replace most major mechanical components.
