The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is soliciting offers for a full-service elevator maintenance contract for the Oklahoma City Air Traffic Control Tower (OKC ATCT) located at 4500 SW 67th St, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The contract requires the contractor to provide all labor, materials, and supplies to maintain one elevator in accordance with ASME A17.1 and A18.1 standards. Services include scheduled preventive maintenance (at least quarterly), 24/7 emergency response with a 2-hour response time (1 hour for entrapments), repairs, testing (Category 1 and 5), and communication device monitoring. The contractor must achieve a minimum 97% operational availability and no more than 4 unscheduled outages per quarter. The contract has a base period from January 1, 2027 to December 31, 2027, with four one-year option periods through December 31, 2031. The contractor must accept the elevator "as is" and is responsible for all repairs except those due to vandalism, negligence, or non-elevator issues. The FAA will provide an independent third-party inspector for annual and five-year tests.
