Description
The City of Riverdale is soliciting proposals from qualified design firms for one design contract covering three elements at the Riverdale Centre: an ADA-compliant outdoor-access restroom building with an accessible route from existing parking; improvements to the sidewalk network to create an ADA-compliant circumferential walking path with a Church Street connection, wayfinding and mileage signs, benches, and related amenities; and a dog park of at least 30,000 square feet divided into small- and large-dog areas, with a human area, benches, shade canopies, lighting, and landscaping. The scope includes surveying and other preliminary work and requires three sets of construction documents, one for each design element. Proposers must submit lump-sum cost and time proposals, along with the required business identification and cost proposal forms. The solicitation evaluates firm and key-staff experience, approach, schedule, references, and proposed fee. A mandatory preproposal meeting is required, and proposals must be physically delivered in a sealed envelope by the stated deadline.
