Description
The State of Ohio is seeking a registered architectural/engineering firm for design and construction oversight of the main switch replacement and electrical distribution improvements at a correctional institution. The scope includes a field investigation and development or verification of project requirements, electrical and site-utility design, integration of campus systems, cost and schedule analysis, bid support, construction administration, and closeout. Related enabling work may include demolition, excavation, concrete and carpentry work, testing, commissioning, and startup. The selected firm must provide at least eight hours of on-site construction administration each week during construction, including progress-meeting attendance and written field reports. The project has a stated total budget of $4 million, an estimated construction cost of $3.4 million, and an EDGE participation goal of 5% of the initial A/E fee. The Statement of Qualifications must identify EDGE-certified team members and where services will be performed; specified EDGE forms are required with the submission, with additional EDGE documentation required if seeking points above the participation goal.
