Description
The U.S. Department of Agriculture Forest Service, through Forest Health Protection, is requesting an identification service contract to support forest-health staff with bark beetle, ambrosia beetle, and pollinator identification during the field season. The taxonomist will provide accurate identifications to support data supplied to land managers. The opportunity is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items under FAR Part 12, and quotations are requested without a separate written solicitation. The requirement is identified as a small-business set-aside in the description, although the notice classification also states that the requirement is unrestricted. Amendment 0001 extends the offer deadline and revises the performance work statement.
