Description
The U.S. Department of Energy's National Energy Technology Laboratory intends to negotiate a purchase order on a sole-source basis with Green Imaging Technologies Inc. for an ImaCore 3D Rock Core Imager. The instrument will support evaluation of petrophysical features and multiphase fluid flow in geologic cores and wellbore cement, enhancing the laboratory's subsurface research capabilities. The requested system is described as patent-protected and proprietary to Green Imaging Technologies Inc. and specifically engineered to operate with the laboratory's existing Oxford GeoSpec NMR P10 Overburden Cell. The compatibility is required to preserve experimental continuity, prevent data corruption, and enable quantitative comparison with historical and ongoing rock-core datasets.
