Description
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, through the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health’s Health Effects Laboratory Division, intends to award a firm-fixed-price sole-source purchase order for preventative maintenance and calibration of centrifuges. The contractor must perform visual and functional checks of rotor condition, imbalance indicators, lid locks, refrigeration performance where applicable, and overall mechanical integrity. Calibration must address speed, temperature, timer, and imbalance or brake testing in accordance with ISO 17025 standards. This is a notice of intent to sole source, not a request for competitive quotations; interested vendors may submit written capability statements, product or capability information, and pricing information for the Government’s consideration.
