Description
Cleveland Metroparks is soliciting bids for maintenance dredging at Emerald Necklace Marina annually from 2027 through 2031 and at Wildwood Marina as an alternate in 2029. The work includes labor, materials, equipment, mobilization, removal of predominantly granular river- and lake-bottom sediment, transport to approved nearshore placement areas, installation and removal of turbidity curtains, pre- and post-dredging surveys, daily spoil-volume logs, and compliance with applicable permits and U.S. Coast Guard requirements. Emerald Necklace dredging is expected to range from approximately 1,000 to 4,000 cubic yards annually, while the Wildwood alternate is approximately 4,000 cubic yards and not less than 2,000 cubic yards. All work must be completed within a two-week period and by May 1 of each applicable year, subject to annual permit restrictions and updated dredging plans. Bidders must submit the provided bid form, personal-property-tax affidavit, notarized statement of qualifications, bid bond or permitted alternative, and other documents identified in the solicitation. A bid bond or other bid guaranty of 10% is required for bids over $10,000; the successful bidder must provide a 100% performance and labor-and-materialman bond. Prevailing-wage requirements apply.
