Description
The Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District is soliciting sealed bids for construction of the CSO-203 Relocation Project. The work includes removing part of the existing 12-foot-6-inch by 7-foot-11-inch corrugated metal pipe culvert; constructing a concrete collar and new outfall structure; installing approximately 1,080 linear feet of a 5.5-foot-high by 9-foot-wide precast concrete box culvert; constructing an armor stone revetment and access walkway to the existing CSO-202 outfall; installing a floatable boom curtain; and abandoning approximately 244 linear feet of the existing culvert with controlled low-strength material grout fill. The project is subject to a $6,250,000 estimated probable construction cost, a 20% SBE goal, prevailing-wage and Davis-Bacon requirements, American Iron and Steel and Build America, Buy America requirements, and federal funding compliance provisions. Bidders must submit a completed public-improvement bid form, bid guaranty, and BOP compliance affidavit through the electronic bidding portal. The two apparent low bidders must provide additional qualification, non-collusion, equal-employment, BABA, AIS, debarment, and SBE-related documents within 72 hours after bid opening.
