Description
The City of Santa Maria is seeking a qualified contractor to provide custodial services at seven designated facilities: three libraries, a wastewater treatment plant, a regional landfill, City Hall and its annex, and a transit center. The scope includes daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual cleaning tasks such as trash removal, restroom cleaning and sanitization, floor care, carpet and window cleaning, dusting, surface cleaning, and kitchen-area cleaning. Carpet cleaning and steam extraction are treated as extra work. The contractor must furnish labor, equipment, cleaning materials, restroom supplies, wastebasket liners, and product safety data sheets. The contractor will also provide schedules, inspections, reports, complaint response, facility security, and supervisory personnel. The agreement is for a two-year term, with a possible additional two-year renewal by mutual consent. Proposers must submit a letter of transmittal, table of contents, project understanding, scope of work, relevant experience with professional references, and proposed financial details.
