Description
The Town seeks one qualified primary contractor to provide or coordinate as-needed residential and commercial building inspections, building plan reviews, planning, zoning, development and land-use reviews, fire protection and life-safety plan reviews and inspections, and related professional services. The scope includes documenting inspection results and corrections, reviewing initial plans and resubmittals, preparing written findings and recommendations, coordinating qualified engineering or architectural specialists when needed, and providing optional services such as storm drainage engineering review, public works inspection, permit-technician support, and clerical assistance. The contractor must maintain qualified and appropriately licensed personnel, use the Town's City Inspect permit software, and provide staffing, availability, communication, records, and reports sufficient to meet applicable deadlines. The Town anticipates an initial four-year contract with one optional one-year renewal. Services will be provided on an as-needed basis, with no guaranteed minimum volume or dollar amount. Proposals must include the requested qualifications, personnel and licensing information, relevant experience and references, service approach, exceptions, and a complete billing methodology and fee proposal.
