Description
The City of St. George is soliciting proposals for complete turnkey temporary air traffic control tower services at St. George Regional Airport. The scope includes designing, furnishing, delivering, installing, testing, commissioning, operating, maintaining, and removing a temporary ATCT facility; providing FAA-required or FAA-approved communications, surveillance, ADS-B monitoring, recording, weather, power, backup power, furnishings, and related support equipment; and restoring the site at contract closeout. The contractor must provide at least three qualified air traffic controllers, including personnel with valid FAA Control Tower Operator certificates, applicable medical qualifications, and other required FAA credentials. Services are expected to operate seven days per week from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Mountain Time, supporting airport surface and immediate traffic-area operations, coordination with the FAA and airport stakeholders, required records and reporting, and anticipated daily activity of up to approximately 30 commercial airline operations and 250 general aviation operations. Proposals are limited to 15 pages excluding appendices and must include firm information, project understanding and approach, relevant experience with at least three similar projects, a proposed timeline, fee proposal, licensing confirmation, and proof of professional liability insurance.
