Description
The State of Utah Division of Facilities Construction and Management is soliciting bids from contractors prequalified through its Stage I process to construct a new approximately 800-square-foot concession and ticketing building at Southern Utah University. The work includes a concession area with a three-compartment sink, grease interceptor, kitchen exhaust hood, fryer support, service windows, ticketing transaction windows, concrete and masonry construction, roofing, mechanical and electrical systems, plumbing, site work, and related finishes. The project also includes demolition and protection of existing site elements, required inspections, testing, commissioning, and deferred submittals. The construction budget is $487,956, and substantial completion is required by May 7, 2027. A mandatory in-person meeting is required for prime contractors wishing to bid. Bids and a 5% bid bond must be submitted through the designated procurement portal; the selected contractor must later provide 100% performance and payment bonds. The subcontractor list must be submitted separately by email within the stated post-bid deadline.
