Description
The City of St. George is soliciting bids for the FY 2027 Crack Seal Project, involving crack cleaning and sealing on various city roadways. The bid schedule includes lump-sum items for mobilization and traffic control, plus approximately 100 tons of crack sealing. Work includes supplying and applying hot-applied asphalt crack-sealing material, surface preparation, equipment operation, cleanup, traffic control, and compliance with specified safety and quality requirements. The contractor must inspect the site, provide required labor, materials, equipment, permits, traffic-control devices, and qualified supervision, and use approved crack-sealing materials and equipment. The project is intended to commence no later than December 1, 2026, and be completed no later than February 27, 2027. A five-percent bid bond is required with the bid; performance and payment bonds, each for 100 percent of the contract price, are required after award. Required bid information includes the bid schedule and bid bond, while major-subcontractor information, insurance certification, and legal-work-status verification are identified as optional or potentially satisfied through vendor registration.
