Description
The U.S. Forest Service is seeking a contractor to provide routine preventative maintenance, inspections, testing, minor repairs, and as-needed service calls for three elevators at the Corvallis Forestry Sciences Laboratory. The contractor must provide all labor, supervision, tools, materials, equipment, transportation, permits, licenses, and related services. Work includes monthly maintenance, quarterly preventative-maintenance visits, a full-load test during the base year, repairs using original-manufacturer or equivalent parts, safety and compliance testing, and service-call assessments within one calendar day when requested. The contractor must submit a preventative maintenance plan, schedule of services, quality control plan, and evaluation-factor responses addressing past performance, relevant experience, quality control, and price. The contract is firm-fixed-price with a 12-month base period and four 12-month option periods. The solicitation requires pricing for all schedule items and evaluates the total base-plus-option price.
