Description
The USDA Forest Service is seeking a contractor to provide annual inspection services for the fire alarm and fire sprinkler systems at the Corvallis Forestry Sciences Laboratory. The contractor must furnish all labor, supervision, management, tools, materials, transportation, permits, licenses, credentials, and other resources necessary to perform the work in accordance with applicable NFPA standards, manufacturer specifications, and federal, state, and local requirements. The fire alarm system includes a Simplex 4001 LG Model LMC1575ST system and associated initiating devices, notification appliances, control equipment, emergency communications equipment, and interface equipment. The contract includes one 12-month base period and four 12-month option periods. Required performance includes scheduling inspections, conducting testing, providing a PDF Inspection and Testing Report within 10 business days after completion, and maintaining a quality control plan. Quotes must include pricing for the base year and all option years, a response to the past performance, experience, and quality control evaluation factors, and specified SF-1449 signature blocks.
