Description
Capital Metropolitan Transportation Authority is soliciting proposals from qualified firms for construction of the Double Tracking and Plaza Saltillo Station Platforms project. The work includes utility relocation infrastructure, double tracking, track and special-track work, wayside signalization, Positive Train Control modifications, communications, station platforms with canopies, road reconfiguration, a bike trail, and related civil, electrical, telecommunications, and utility work based on the project's 100% design plans, specifications, estimate, and supporting documents. The pricing schedule includes extensive signal infrastructure, station communications, CCTV, fiber optic cabling, electrical and plumbing work, grade-crossing improvements, storm drainage, and optional drone-based utility documentation and Onion Street Paseo work. The proposal must be submitted electronically by 3:00 p.m. Central Time on September 24, 2026. Volume 1 pricing must be uploaded in the Cost File field, and the Volume 2 technical proposal must be uploaded in the Response File field. Required submission materials include the revised pricing exhibits, signed representations and certifications, signed Buy America certification, proposal bond, and applicable exceptions and assumptions. Amendment 2 revises the pricing exhibits and design information, including quantities and signal infrastructure details; the solicitation states that unit prices must be fully burdened and that option items may be awarded at CapMetro's discretion.
