Description
Gwinnett County is soliciting proposals for an annual contract to provide occupational health services for employees and applicants. The scope includes pre-employment, fitness-for-duty, return-to-duty, and change-of-position medical examinations; urinalysis and hair-follicle drug screening; breath alcohol testing; random drug and alcohol selection; medical review officer services; laboratory confirmation; chain-of-custody management; secure reporting; and related record retention and transfer. The provider must support 24-hour, seven-day testing for random and reasonable-suspicion matters, maintain appropriately qualified medical and testing personnel, use a Department of Health and Human Services-certified laboratory, comply with applicable Department of Transportation and Federal Transit Administration requirements, provide accessible facilities in or near Gwinnett County, and submit detailed staffing, facility, experience, reference, implementation, reporting, training, procedures, performance-guarantee, and fee information. The initial contract period is 12 months with four additional one-year renewal options; there are no guaranteed quantities or minimum compensation.
