Description
The Corpus Christi Regional Transportation Authority is soliciting a contractor to rebuild or remanufacture Allison B400R transmissions using genuine Allison parts and applicable OEM specifications, service bulletins, engineering changes, and product improvements. CCRTA will provide transmission cores, while the contractor will perform inspection, rebuilding, remanufacturing, dynamometer testing, delivery, and associated transportation and handling. Each transmission must pass specified loaded and unloaded performance tests and be accompanied by a completed dynamometer/run-out test report. The contractor must be an Allison-authorized dealer, distributor, service provider, or remanufacturing facility with manufacturer-trained technicians. The scope includes delivery within three business days of a purchase order, a three-year unlimited-mileage warranty with full parts and labor coverage, and on-site warranty diagnosis and repairs within 48 hours of notification. The contract is a two-year firm-fixed-price supply and service contract with estimated quantities and no guaranteed minimum quantity.
