Description
The Corpus Christi Regional Transportation Authority (CCRTA) is seeking a Contractor to furnish, supply, and provide ongoing uniform services for bus operators and supervisors. The current workforce consists of approximately 77 male and 16 female bus operators, with potential to increase to as many as 104 operators during the contract term, plus approximately 11 male and 7 female supervisors. Each newly hired employee will initially be provided with five shirts, three pairs of pants, and one lightweight jacket. The contract is a three-year firm fixed-price supply and service contract with an effective date of January 1, 2027. The Contractor will be responsible for maintaining adequate shelf-stock, providing measurement and alteration services, delivering uniforms within specified timeframes, and embroidering CCRTA logos on designated items. Uniform items include trousers, comfort flex pants, shorts, button-down shirts, staff shirts, heavy and lightweight jackets, ties, shoes, belts, vests, and knit caps, all with specific color and material specifications. The CCRTA will provide logos for embroidery at no cost, and the Contractor must include all embroidery costs in unit prices. Liquidated damages may be assessed for late or incorrect deliveries. Bidders must submit product samples for approval by September 1, 2026, and bids are due September 29, 2026.
