Description
The project involves a complete renovation of part of the second floor of CHSLD Saint-Vincent-de-Paul to create two continuous-assistance residential units for people with intellectual disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, or behavioral challenges. The units will include 24 individual rooms, dining and living areas, observation stations, specialized washrooms, a Snoezelen room, staff and support spaces, storage, service rooms, and required exterior improvements with secure access from the existing terrace. The design must provide a residential environment suited to the residents while incorporating safety, anti-ligature, vandal-resistance, visibility, and access-control requirements. The estimated contract period is 18 months.
