Description
The City is seeking proposals to prequalify and select a supplier and standard skid-mounted duplex suction-lift wastewater pump system, including appurtenances. The proposed system must pass 3-inch solids and provide 230 gpm at 25 feet of total dynamic head per pump, with a 15-foot suction lift at 515 feet above mean sea level. The specified power supply is 230V, three-phase, and each motor must include a variable frequency drive. Pump discharge arrangements must allow either pump to be isolated while the station remains in normal operation. Proposals should describe the system’s standard materials, construction methods, testing, pump-to-motor interface, seals and wear components, priming system, solids-handling and anti-clogging features, emergency-operation options, monitoring and alarm capabilities, warranty, and manufacturer and regional supplier support. Include capital and life-cycle costs, recommended service intervals and costs, useful life, and at least three relevant references. The standard specification and warranty are required; relevant drawings, brochures, and marketing materials may also be included. The proposed capital cost must address applicable American Iron and Steel and Build America Buy America requirements. The selected supplier may be used as the City’s standard supplier for future pump station equipment procurements; this solicitation does not itself specify a purchase quantity or contract term.
