Description
Cocke County Government is soliciting sealed bids for the removal and replacement of five large arched courtroom window assemblies at the Cocke County Courthouse. Each window is approximately 12.5 feet high by 6.5 feet wide and must use double-pane insulated Low-E glass with an overall U-factor of 0.27 Btu/hr*ft²*°F or better, while matching the existing arched profile and divided-lite/grid appearance. The scope includes field measurement, removal and disposal of existing glazing, furnishing and installing complete window assemblies, framing, trim, flashing, sealants, weatherproofing, fasteners, blocking, minor finish repairs, cleaning, and coordination of access and safety measures. Bidders must submit the required certifications and bid information, including product data and warranty information, insurance certification, contractor licensing information where applicable, and federal compliance certifications for BABA, Davis-Bacon, and suspension/debarment requirements. The successful bidder must provide required insurance documentation before work begins; a public-works bond of at least 25% of the contract price is required if the contract exceeds $100,000.
