Description
The City of Rochester is soliciting a single prime general construction contractor for Project 26030, Rochester Riverside Convention Center River Wall Stabilization. The base bid covers rehabilitation of the existing stone masonry and concrete river walls along the Genesee River, including vegetation and debris removal, stone-joint repointing, loose-stone removal and resetting, void and scour-pocket infill, river-bottom undermining repairs, deteriorated concrete repairs, epoxy crack injection, epoxy concrete sealant, survey markers, site restoration, staging, access, temporary facilities, traffic control, crane or hoist equipment, scaffolding, and upper-wall inspection. Bid Alternate 1 adds stabilization of the wall between Stations 1+40 and 2+42. Bid Alternate 2 adds south loading-dock wall replacement and repair, stair repair, asbestos-containing waterproofing abatement, masonry work, waterproofing, metal fabrication, joint sealants, coatings, electrical work, and lighting. Work requires coordination with the Rochester Riverside Convention Center, Rochester Gas and Electric, the New York State Canal Corporation, and other agencies; applicable permits, river access agreements, insurance, prevailing-wage compliance, MWBE participation, workforce goals, apprenticeship documentation, and New York State contractor registration are required.
