Description
The City seeks a qualified operator to manage and operate its downtown parking facilities, comprising parking structures and surface lots. Services include daily, monthly, and event parking administration; staffing and supervision; parking-fee collection, accounting, and reporting; coordination with parking guidance, access-control, electric-vehicle charging, and security-system vendors; and customer service, training, and incident response. Valet-assist services may be required as specified. The operator will also provide general facility upkeep, including janitorial, landscaping, and parking-equipment maintenance, and prepare operating, staffing, training, and maintenance plans. Proposals must address the requested scope, firm and team qualifications, comparable projects, service approach, detailed fees, at least three similar-project references, and an implementation schedule. The agreement is for three years, with two possible one-year extensions. The successful proposer must provide insurance certificates and a Culver City business tax certificate during contracting; these are not proposal-time submittals.
