Description
The City of Fort Worth is soliciting competitive sealed proposals for construction of the Holly Fueling Facility at 1500 11th Avenue. The project includes an approximately 6,750-square-foot fueling facility with an 84-by-50-foot pre-engineered fuel-island canopy; one 12,000-gallon unleaded gasoline tank; three 12,000-gallon diesel tanks; a 1,000-gallon DEF storage system; remote fill stations; standard-flow and high-flow diesel, gasoline, and DEF dispensers; card readers; transfer pumps; overfill protection; fuel-control and monitoring systems; an air compressor; electrical, plumbing, mechanical, civil, structural, paving, fencing, and related site work. The estimated construction cost is approximately $2,773,122. Proposals must include a 7.5 percent Owner's Contingency Allowance as a separate line item and a bid bond of at least 5 percent of the proposal. The selected contractor will be required before award or contract execution, as applicable, to provide payment and performance bonds, insurance, workers' compensation coverage, schedules, references and experience information, subcontractor and supplier information, a schedule of values, SBE utilization information, and required conflict-of-interest and ethics forms. A 30 percent Small Business Utilization goal is stated, although the instructions also state that business equity provisions are not applicable.
