Description
The Quinault Indian Nation is soliciting a technical proposal for a desktop geothermal resource assessment and feasibility study covering lands in the Ocean Shores, Grays Harbor, and coastal Washington region. The work includes compilation and review of geologic, geothermal, geophysical, seismic, groundwater, and exploration data; regional geologic, structural, tectonic, seismicity, and thermal-resource assessments; conceptual geothermal resource modeling; and development of a geothermal favorability analysis. The selected vendor will design a future geothermal exploration program, including recommendations for geophysical surveys, geochemical sampling, permitting and environmental considerations, an exploration budget, and an implementation schedule. The vendor must also prepare a comprehensive final technical report. Proposals should address the required technical approach, firm qualifications and experience, independence, references, fee structure and costs, insurance and indemnification, and differentiating capabilities. Services are scheduled to commence January 4, 2027, with the final technical report scheduled for completion December 15, 2027; alternate milestones may be proposed.
