Description
The Chelsea School District is soliciting proposals for the purchase and installation of a new, full-color LED electronic display sign to replace the existing one at Chelsea High School. The scope includes providing all necessary hardware, software, mounting components, and electrical coordination. Vendors are expected to evaluate the existing brick base and electrical infrastructure, recommending any necessary upgrades or modifications. The new sign should be a monument-style, double-faced configuration with a cloud-based or network-accessible content management system, capable of displaying text, graphics, images, animations, and video. It must be daylight-readable with automatic brightness adjustment and utilize UL-listed electrical components. The vendor will be responsible for the removal and disposal of the current sign, obtaining all necessary permits and inspections, and providing training to district staff on sign management and software operation. A minimum one-year manufacturer warranty covering parts, labor, and software support is required, with options for extended warranties and service agreements.
