Description
The California Highway Patrol is soliciting bids for recurring protective clothing and operational supply rental services at its Los Banos Area Office. The contractor must furnish, fit, alter, label, clean, sanitize, repair, replace, pick up, and deliver shop jackets, shop coats, uniform shirts, denim jeans, long-sleeve coveralls, slip-resistant mats, shop towels, dust mops, and wall-mounted hand sanitizers and refills. Services include weekly pickup and delivery, manifests, quarterly inventories, replacement of worn items through normal wear, and initial uniform setup and resizing. The agreement is anticipated to run from January 1, 2027, through January 31, 2030, subject to approval and funding. The first month is intended for transition and uniform fitting, with rental services beginning the following month. Bidders must have at least three consecutive years of relevant experience within the past five years, hold the required local business license, and submit three similar-service client references. The DVBE participation requirement is waived, but eligible DVBE participation may receive an incentive. Insurance proof is required before agreement execution, including commercial general liability, automobile liability, workers’ compensation, and employer’s liability coverage.
