Description
Trinity County is seeking a contractor to repair a slip-out on Van Duzen Road at post mile 11.13. The project involves excavating the existing damaged roadway segment, excavating a cut slope embankment opposite the slide to provide a detour, constructing a mechanically stabilized earth retaining wall, installing an underdrain system, and reconstructing the roadway using aggregate base and hot mix asphalt. The work will take place in an unincorporated area near Hettenshaw, Trinity County, California, along the Van Duzen River. The project is classified as a categorical exemption under CEQA (Class 1 Existing Facilities).
