Description
The Virginia Department of Transportation is soliciting bids to furnish, deliver, and stockpile various aggregate materials on an as-needed basis at area headquarters within its Hampton Roads District. Requested materials include #3, #8, #26, #57, #68, and #78 stone; #8 lightweight stone; and Class A1 riprap. Deliveries will be made to specified area headquarters in Southampton, Greensville, Isle of Wight, and Sussex counties, including locations in Ivor, Capron, Emporia, Courtland, Smithfield, Stony Creek, Waverly, and Windsor. The listed quantities are measured in tons and total approximately 31,850 tons across the identified delivery locations.
